Tiny Dave

Posted in Turkey by Dave on January 8, 2015

I’ve been carrying around a tiny 3D printed replica of, well, me.IMG_3297 (Large)

(I got myself scanned many months ago at the Exploratorium store by some guys who were starting a business scanning folks and selling little colored, 3D printed replicas. Although I didn’t buy one, I talked them into sending me the files, and printed a few out myself.)

Well, this Tiny Dave has been getting around…here he is outside the Hagia Sophia in Istanbul,IMG_3279 (Large)

Are those dolls on your room your personal collection or left over from the last occupants?

They were there when I moved in , along with a nice collection of sparkly nail polish and a bunch of other stuff. I admit to a little rearranging, though.

If I can figure out a way to scan myself, can you print me out and show him/me the sites?

Just send the file, and a 3D printer, and you’re on!
